Clark Hill Chicago Attorney Ray J. Koenig III Selected As Chair of the Chicago Bar Association’s New Leadership Development Committee
CHICAGO, IL – Clark Hill Chicago Attorney Ray J. Koenig III was selected to chair the Chicago Bar Association’s (CBA) newly created Leadership Development Committee.
“Ray is the perfect choice to Chair this new committee because of his longstanding commitment to the CBA and demonstrated leadership skills. Ray is also highly regarded in Chicago’s legal community and will involve lawyers from Chicago and the greater metropolitan area in this new initiative,” said Terry Murphy, Executive Director of The Chicago Bar Association.
The purpose of the new Committee is to develop leadership training programs that will help young lawyers develop the skills needed to become future leaders in the legal profession and in our community. “Leadership is really about getting people involved and getting them to care” said Murphy, “and we are confident that leadership training will be a great benefit to the legal profession and to the public that we serve.”
Koenig is the Managing Member of Clark Hill’s Chicago office, serves on the firm’s Executive Committee and is a member in Clark Hill’s Litigation Practice Group. He practices in the areas of probate litigation, trust litigation, fiduciary litigation, elder law, estate planning, and estate administration, with an emphasis on will, trust, guardianship, and advance directive contests and other fiduciary litigation. Koenig has represented individuals, families, financial institutions, medical institutions, and governmental organizations in all areas of his practice. Koenig has extensive trial, appellate and mediation experience in state and federal courts.
