Kennard specializes in tax credit finance, including new markets tax credits, low-income housing tax credits, historic tax credits and renewable energy tax credits. His clients include real estate developers, nonprofits, community development entities, state and local governments, and financial institutions.
Additionally, his practice includes federal and state income taxation, including issues related to partnerships, corporations, S-corporations, real estate investment trusts, regulated investment companies, like-kind exchanges, and debt/equity issues.
