Clark Hill Cares Program Receives Communitas Award

June 9, 2011

DETROIT, MI

– Clark Hill Cares, the pro-social community outreach program of Clark Hill PLC, was awarded a Communitas Award for their involvement in the promotion of community service in each of Clark Hill’s seven offices. The Communitas Award recognizes exceptional businesses, organizations and individuals that are giving of themselves and their resources to philanthropic efforts.

“We are proud to have our program recognized by this award. We are completely dedicated to helping fill a need in our communities – and we know the generous spirit of our firm is channeled throughout our offices. We are pleased to accept this award, and even more pleased to continue our work,” said Don Lee, Clark Hill PLC Chief Marketing Officer.

Clark Hill Cares was formed in 2009, although the firm has conducted community outreach efforts for a number of years preceding this date. The resources formerly invested in holiday cards were reallocated for the program – which includes volunteering at local food banks, hosting food and fund drives, assisting community programs, Race for the Cure, and blood drives, among other efforts.
