Clark Hill Attorneys to Present Labor & Employment Training – How to Negotiate a Contract Under Act 111 and Act 195 – June 16, 2016

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Clark Hill’s Erin C. Galbally and Ethan M. Dennis, attorneys in the firm’s Labor & Employment practice group, will present a one hour training session on “How to Negotiate a Contract Under Act 111 and Act 195” in the firm’s Philadelphia office on June 16, 2016.

Galbally represents public and private sector employers on all aspects of labor and employment law including Act 111 interest arbitration, collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board (PLRB) matters, and Heart and Lung issues. She has negotiated collective bargaining agreements on behalf of numerous municipal clients, and she also counsels both public and private sector employers in response to allegations of employment discrimination, wage-and-hour litigation, and wrongful discharge complaints.  She has broad experience in successfully handling grievance arbitrations.  Additionally, Galbally regularly provides guidance to clients on employment practices, including anti-harassment policies, workplace investigations, employment applications, drug test policies, and employee discipline. 

Dennis represents a variety of public and private employers in labor matters, including collective bargaining, labor arbitrations, and unfair labor practice charges.  He also defends employers in litigation brought by employees claiming discrimination, retaliation, breach of contract, wrongful termination, and denial of wages and benefits.  Dennis counsels public and private employers on day-to-day management of union and non-union employees, drafts workplace policies, and conducts trainings for management and employees.  Dennis also has experience in representing national and regional businesses in complex commercial litigation.
