Chicago, IL – Clark Hill attorneys Sandra S. Hamilton and Sherry Lowe Johnson will speak at the Illinois Bankers Association’s Women in Banking Conference on September 23, 2015, at the Hilton Hotel in Springfield, Illinois. They will be facilitators on the topic of the Intricacies of Workplace Communication before women bankers at the conference.

Hamilton is a member of Clark Hill’s litigation and bankruptcy practice groups and has over 25 years of experience representing financial institutions.  She focuses her practice in the areas of commercial litigation, bankruptcy, collections and creditors’ rights law. Hamilton represents banks and other financial institutions, secured parties, businesses and municipalities in all aspects of bankruptcy, collection litigation and out of court enforcement and resolution. In her extensive creditors’ rights practice, she regularly counsels clients on commercial loan workouts, loan restructuring, rights and remedies in bankruptcy, Uniform Commercial Code, consumer bankruptcy and collections, and foreclosure issues.

Lowe Johnson is a member of Clark Hill’s litigation and bankruptcy practice groups and has over 20 years of experience in representing financial institutions, equipment leasing companies, and corporations in commercial matters in state, federal and bankruptcy courts. She specializes in complex litigation, including lender liability claims, fraud claims, programmatic failures, factoring agreements, and commercial contract disputes. Lowe Johnson handles all aspects of bankruptcy from the creditor's perspective, including Chapter 11 plan treatment of creditors’ claims, lien priority and competing secured creditors' issues, fraudulent transfers and avoidance claims, critical vendors' claims, and liquidation processes.
