Clark Hill Attorneys Ray J. Koenig III and MacKenzie A. Hyde to Present on “Dealing with Decision-Makers in a Health Care Setting: Identifying Red Flags and Avoiding Pitfalls”

Clark Hill Attorneys Ray J. Koenig III and MacKenzie A. Hyde will present at the SeniorBridge Open House with a free Continuing Education Units (CEU) seminar titled, “Dealing with Decision-Makers in a Health Care Setting: Identifying Red Flags and Avoiding Pitfalls.” The seminar will take place on October 25, 2012 at SeniorBridge’s Chicago office (737 N. Michigan Avenue, Suite 2020).
The presentation addresses red flags and pitfalls in dealing with decision-makers The attendees will be provided with material intended as a reference for use after the presentation, while in the field. It will serve as a guide as the attendees encounter red flags or issues regarding powers of attorney, guardianship, and the Illinois Health Care Surrogate Act.
Koenig is the Managing Member of Clark Hill’s Chicago office and a member in Clark Hill’s Litigation Practice Group. He practices in the areas of probate litigation, trust litigation, fiduciary litigation, elder law, estate planning, and estate administration, with an emphasis on will, trust, guardianship, and advance directive contests and other fiduciary litigation. Koenig has represented individuals, families, financial institutions, medical institutions, and governmental organizations in all areas of his practice. Koenig has extensive trial, appellate and mediation experience in state and federal courts.
Hyde is an associate attorney in the Litigation Practice Group of Clark Hill’s Chicago office. She concentrates in contested guardianships and estates, as well as fiduciary litigation and estate administration. She represents individuals, medical institutions and financial institutions in all areas of her practice. She is frequently appointed by the Probate Court to serve as Guardian Ad Litem in guardianship cases.
