The event is co-sponsored by the Senior Health Insurance Program and Illinois Department of Insurance. The event will take place on December 7-9, 2011 at the Marriott Chicago Downtown.

Before care providers can successfully work with these decision-makers they need to:
1. Confirm that the decision-maker is legally entitled to make the decision at issue; and
2. Know the extent of a decision-maker’s authority and what standards he or she should apply when making decisions on behalf of a disabled adult.
