– Clark Hill Birmingham attorneys Greg Moore and Peter Domas presented at the Health Care Compliance Association’s (HCCA) Managed Care Compliance Conference, held in Scottsdale, Arizona this week. Their presentation focused extensively on developing solutions for the challenges facing behavioral health providers and managed care organizations caused by the recent regulatory and economic changes facing the behavioral health industry.
Moore chairs Clark Hill’s National Healthcare and Behavioral Healthcare Practice Groups. These days he spends his time counseling clients on healthcare reform matters aimed at behavioral health and physical medicine integration, as well as surviving in the managed care world, navigating the growing number of regulatory trap doors and getting paid by government and other third parties.
Likewise, Domas’ career is focused extensively on the issues facing the healthcare and behavioral healthcare industries. Prior to entering the practice of law, he directed the Midwest’s contract compliance audit operations for a national service company whose clients include national, local and government insurance providers. Peter also is a certified public accountant in the State of Michigan and a registered certified public account in the State of Illinois.
