Chicago, IL – Clark Hill Attorneys Gerald “Jud” E. DeLoss and Gregory W. Moore will present at the American Health Lawyers Association Annual Meeting June 29 – July 1, 201 in Washington DC. DeLoss’ session is titled “Appealing the Meaningful Use Audit-Attesting the Waters.” Moore’s session is titled “The Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA): Recent Developments, Federal and State Interpretations, How to Comply.”

DeLoss is a Member in Clark Hill’s Chicago office in the Health Care Practice Group.  He focuses on the representation of behavioral healthcare providers (SUD and Mental Health), hospitals, medical groups, federally-­qualified health centers, trade associations, health information exchanges, EHR vendors, and research organizations.  His practice areas include health information privacy, HIPAA, corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, reimbursement (Medicare/Medicaid/private insurers), contracting, and credentialing/privileging.  He has represented multiple clients on Meaningful Use (“MU”) audits and appeals, to prevent recoupment of MU incentives.

Moore chairs Clark Hill’s National Healthcare Group. He has focused his entire career on representing health care providers and routinely handles matters before federal and state courts as well as administrative agencies. In addition, he provides daily counsel to health care providers ranging in size from the sole physician office to some of the largest physician practice groups and hospital systems in the United States. With 20 years of experience serving clients in the health care industry, his practice covers the full spectrum of regulatory, transactional and litigation services.
