Chicago, IL – Clark Hill attorneys Donald A. Shindler, John L. Hines Jr. and Jillian B. Steinberg presented “Ethics and the Use of Social Media”, a one credit hour ethics CLE presentation, to the Chicago Mortgage Attorneys Association (CMAA) on January 25, 2016. Shindler is a member of the CMAA.

Shindler is Senior Counsel in the Real Estate Practice Group and Co-Leader of the Food, Beverage & Hospitality Group at Clark Hill.  In addition to providing general counsel and advice to clients on matters including business formation, corporate governance, ownership succession issues, business planning, the preparation and negotiation of a variety of contracts and transactional documents, Don assists clients in corporate and real estate transactions and counseling, focusing on acquisitions and sales, financing, restructuring and workouts, hospitality, leasing, construction and energy-related matters.

Hines is a member of Clark Hill’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. He concentrates his practice in the areas of intellectual property, technology licensing, cloud computing, technology procurement and outsourcing, electronic commerce and information management. He regularly counsels clients on technology and computer-driven liability in matters involving unfair competition, copyright infringement, privacy and online speech and defamation (as well as matters involving the U.S. Communications Decency Act).

Steinberg is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group of Clark Hill’s Chicago office. She focuses on various areas of litigation, including commercial litigation and employment litigation.
