Williams and Ludwikowski will be presenting, NAFTA: Is there life in it yet or will it be “ripped up”? They will be addressing what the future of NAFTA looks like and why the decision to stay or withdraw could have longstanding repercussions to the U.S. manufacturing industry.

David Ries will speaking on Cyber Security: Protecting Corporate Data in a Breach-a-Day World, discussing the multi-billion-dollar threat to the American Economy and how to develop a comprehensive information security program that keeps your data out of the hands of criminals. 

R. Kevin Williams is a Member in Clark Hill’s Customs and International Trade Law practice group. He practices Customs and International Trade Law focusing on all aspects of the import and export process including tariff classification and valuation of imported merchandise, export licensing, country of origin determinations, country of origin marking, intellectual property protection, anti-dumping/countervailing duty cases including representation before the International Trade Administration, Department of Commerce and the International Trade Commission, and retaliatory actions such as those taken under Section 301. Kevin also advises clients on export licensing and Anti-Boycott/Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and he develops comprehensive import and export compliance programs.

Mark R. Ludwikowski's practice focuses on diverse international trade and customs law matters and the cross-border movement of goods and services. Using professional experience from prior U.S. government and corporate counsel positions, he devises efficient solutions to the global business needs of his clients, which include governments and some of the largest multinational corporations as well as manufacturers, retailers, importers, exporters, and corporate executives.

David G. Ries practices in the areas of environmental, technology, and data protection law and litigation.  For over 20 years, he has increasingly focused on cybersecurity, privacy, and information governance. Dave has recently addressed in his practice such current issues as information security and privacy programs and policies, contracting for privacy and security, response to security incidents and data breaches, digital and environmental forensics, admissibility of expert opinions, e-discovery, and defense of enforcement actions.
