Clark Hill Attorneys Charles Berry and Ryan Lorenz Elected to the Board of Directors for the Scottsdale Bar Association
PHOENIX, AZ – Clark Hill attorneys Charles Berry and Ryan Lorenz were elected to the Scottsdale Bar Association Board of Directors for 2016-2017. Lorenz is the Board President and Berry will serve as Treasurer.
The mission of the Scottsdale Bar Association is to serve its members, and to organize, sponsor and promote law-related programs, activities and education for the benefit of the community.
Berry represents corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, other business entities, and individuals in a wide spectrum of transactions, focusing primarily on capital formation and business management. He has represented clients in many business mergers, acquisitions and sales, and has extensive experience in securities regulation, representing issuers, brokers and dealers in private and public securities offerings. In addition to debt and equity financings, Berry has represented securities dealers, their registered representatives, and registered investment advisers in connection with regulatory compliance matters and investigations. He has participated in many Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) arbitrations, serving as an arbitrator as well as representing claimants and respondents, and conducting arbitrator training for FINRA.
Lorenz is a Member in Clark Hill’s Litigation Practice Group and an adjunct member of the Health Care and Corporate Restructuring and Bankruptcy Practice Groups. His practice focuses on federal and state litigation in the areas of commercial disputes, trust and estates, real estate, medical malpractice, collections, bankruptcy, administrative law, and tribal law.
