Detroit, MI – Clark Hill Attorney William J. Kohler will present at the 92nd Annual Meeting of the International Law Association, which will run from October 25th through October 27th in New York City. He will speak on advising foreign clients with respect to inbound investment.
William J. Kohler, a corporate attorney with Clark Hill PLC and former divisional general counsel of a Fortune 100 Company, has extensive international and domestic experience in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, distribution arrangements, supply arrangements, supplier and customer workouts and bankruptcies, intellectual property arrangements, and general commercial arrangements and corporate matters. He has spoken on a variety of international topics during nearly 30 years of legal practice. He is also the author of a variety of professional articles, including , “Current Risks in Automotive Acquisitions,” “Managing Acquisitions as a Corporate Process,” “Bankruptcy Reorganization in America: Strategies, Dynamics and Law,” and “International Distribution Relationships: Commercial and Legal Perspectives.” Mr. Kohler is Co-Chair of Clark Hill’s Automotive & Manufacturing Practice Group. He is also a member of the Michigan District Export Council (subject to confirmation by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce) and a Director and Secretary of the Council of Great Lakes Industries.
