GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Clark Hill Attorney William B. Dunn will present Lawyers Without Boundaries? Keeping the UPL Out of Your MJP to the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (“ACREL”) on Saturday, March 28, 2015. Dunn’s presentation will discuss the rules of the profession relating to unauthorized practice of law and practice outside the jurisdiction where the lawyer is admitted; and the less-than-adequate solutions of Model Rules of Professional Conduct and even less comforting solutions of state adaptations of those rules and enforcement policies to what is increasingly common Lawyering activity that crosses state lines physically, virtually, and substantively.
ACREL, the premier organization of U.S. real estate lawyers, is an invitation only membership. Nationally-known lawyers are elected to fellowship for their outstanding legal ability, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of real estate law.
