Clark Hill Attorney William B. Dunn to Present at the American Bar Association Real Property, Trust and Estate Section’s Spring Symposium

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Clark Hill Attorney William B. Dunn will speak to members of the American Bar Association Real Property, Trust and Estate Section’s Spring Symposium on Thursday, May 12, 2016. Dunn will discuss local counsel opinion letters in real estate finance transactions and introduce a 60 page report that is scheduled for publication in the ABA Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Journal in the Fall of 2016, which Dunn served as a Reporter for.  

Dunn serves as "Of Counsel" to the firm. He specializes in real property, secured transactions and related business practice, as well as legal ethics and professional responsibility.  His activity in the area of legal regulation includes service on the ABA Standing Committee on Ethics and Professional Responsibility, which he chaired; eight years as a member of the State Bar of Michigan Professional Responsibility Committee (three as chair); chair of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers Committee on Professional Responsibility, and member of a hearing panel of the Michigan Attorney Discipline Board.  He has spoken on programs for the ABA Center for Professional Responsibility National Conference, for the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers, and for other professional organizations on professional regulatory subjects.  His experience in this area has led to speaking and consulting engagements, and to his service as expert witness.
