Clark Hill Attorney Thomas P. Gehl to Present at the Ascend Pan-Asian Leaders National Convention 2012

Clark Hill Attorney Thomas P. Gehl will present at the Ascend Pan-Asian Leaders National Convention 2012 titled, “Transforming Leadership and You.” Gehl is a panelist and will speak on “Emerging Markets – Global Leadership Trends.” The convention will take place on July 27 – July 30, 2012 at the Chicago Sheraton and Towers.

The session will discuss how the growth in emerging markets has been sustained for over a decade, and the number of countries has greatly expanded as the internet and globalization has become standard practice. We will identify the key leadership traits that have become essential to building and growing these markets as sources of labor, customers and gradually products and services.

Gehl is Of Counsel in Clark Hill’s Chicago office in the Corporate Practice Group. He has over twenty years of experience in legal, management, and related issues, including 15 years of senior management experience and seven years as in-house counsel. As a result, Gehl has experience in advising management teams on mergers and acquisitions, contracts, real estate issues, environmental, health and safety regulations, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and international practices. Moreover, he specializes in corporate social responsibility, sustainability, international affairs, investor relations and environmental issues. Gehl helped start the Clark Hill China Initiative and serves as the Co-leader. He has over 15 years of experience in China and has assisted in bringing over $100 Million of investment from China into the USA.
