Clark Hill Attorney Steven Richman Presented at International Bar Association 2015 Annual Conference and Quoted in The Law Society Gazette

PRINCETON, NJ – Clark Hill attorney Steven M. Richman, a member in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, recently participated in several programs during the International Bar Association’s annual conference. Richman serves as Chair of the International Bar Association’s (IBA) Mutidisciplinary Practices Committee.

The IBA held its Annual Conference in Vienna where Richman spoke on four panels: “Episode VII: The Accountants Strike Back,”  “Martial Arts Ethics: The Offensive and Defensive Use of the Rules of Professional Conduct,” and “Multidisciplinary Practices, Small Firms and Bar Associations.” He also spoke on “Legal Professional Privilege in Cross-Border Legal Practices” at the Japan Federation of Bar Associations breakfast.

Richman practices in the areas of domestic and international commercial law, including mediation, litigation and arbitration, and appellate work.

He is a published author including the recent ABA Photography Law Handbook, in addition to numerous articles. He is a frequent CLE lecturer both in this country and around the world.

Richman is President of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation.  He also serves as chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association's International Law Committee, and is a member of the editorial board of The New Jersey Law Journal. Within the American Bar Association, Richman is vice-chair of the ABA's Section of International Law, and serves in the ABA House of Delegates.  He co-chairs the Section's Professional Ethics Committee.  Within the International Bar Association, he chairs the IBA's Multidisciplinary Practice Committee, serves on the Bar Issues Commission Policy Committee, and on the advisory council to the IBA's Section on Public and Professional Interest division.

Richman earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law and B.A. from Drew University.  He is listed in both Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York and California.
