Clark Hill Attorney Richard H. Chapman Published in September-October Issue of Illinois Banker Magazine

CHICAGO, IL – Clark Hill Attorney Richard H. Chapman authored an article featured in the September-October edition of “Illinois Banker” magazine entitled, “Effective Harassment, Discrimination, and Retaliation Policies and Interactive Leader-Led Training Are Just Plain Good Investments for Banks.” The article highlights the essential best compliance practice of banks’ and other businesses’ adoption, distribution, and enforcement of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation prevention policies as an essential element of their human resources function—the importance of which was illustrated in a recent federal appeals court decision.  The article also details key elements of the recent Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s “Select Task Force on the Study of Harassment in the Workplace,” including its focus on benefits of leader-led interactive workplace compliance training for managers and employees.
