Clark Hill Attorney Reginald Turner to Participate in “Diversity in the United States, Canada and Africa: Shared and Diverging Opportunities and Challenges” Roundtable with the National Bar Association July 16 in Las Vegas

– Clark Hill Attorney Reginald Turner will participate in the “Diversity in the United States, Canada and Africa,” roundtable discussion on July 16 during the National Bar Association’s 87th Annual Convention at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. The roundtable discussion is sponsored by Allstate and SNR Denton.

Turner joins speakers Donna Johnson (Allstate), Vanita Banks (Allstate), Arleen Kuggins (Koskie Minksy LLP), Paul Bugingo (SNR Denton and Africa Committee), Allen Allenye (CABL and Fasken Martineau) and Andrew Nunes (Fasken Martineau) as they discuss the challenges facing the legal profession with respect to inclusiveness, regional considerations particularly in Africa, as well as examine ways that leaders can accelerate and embrace the process of achieving diversity in their organizations.

Turner, based in Clark Hill’s Detroit office, is a litigator and lobbyist. He is a Past President of the National Bar Association. He is also a member of Clark Hill’s Executive Committee, Government Policy Group, and Labor and Employment Group, and he regularly counsels clients and advocates for them on important matters of public policy. Turner has been named in both The Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers and is a life fellow of the American Bar Foundation, an honor reserved for less than 1 percent of lawyers in each state. In addition to his legal work, Turner is an active member of his community. He is chairman of the American Bar Association Committee on Issues of Concern to the Profession and the ABA Commission on Racial and Ethnic Diversity in the Profession. He also is vice-chair of the Detroit Public Safety Foundation and secretary of the Greater Wayne County Economic Development Corporation. Turner is a past president of the State Bar of Michigan.
