Clark Hill Attorney Ray J. Koenig III to Present at the 57th Annual IICLE® Estate Planning Short Course

Clark Hill Attorney Ray J. Koenig III is involved with the prestigious two-day seminar offered by IICLE®. The seminar will take place on Thursday and Friday, May 8-9, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago in Chicago and Wednesday and Thursday, May 14-15, 2014 at the Hilton Garden Inn, Champaign.
Koenig will be a speaker at the two-day seminar (Guiding Principles of Elder Law – as a co -presenter) and will discuss special needs trusts, clients with diminished capacity, guardianships, how trusts are treated in guardianships, and predator protection for elderly & diminished capacity, & joint/convenience accounts. Koenig was also again a member of the select committee charged with developing the content of the annual Short Course.

Koenig is the Managing Member of Clark Hill’s Chicago office and a member in Clark Hill’s Litigation Practice Group. He practices in the areas of probate litigation, trust litigation, fiduciary litigation, elder law, estate planning, and estate administration, with an emphasis on will, trust, guardianship, and advance directive contests and other fiduciary litigation. Koenig has represented individuals, families, financial institutions, medical institutions, and governmental organizations in all areas of his practice. Koenig has extensive trial, appellate and mediation experience in state and federal courts.
