Clark Hill Attorney P. Douglas Folk to Present at the Leadership in Engineering Administration Program hosted by the American Council of Engineering Companies of Arizona – April 4
PHOENIX, AZ –
Clark Hill Attorney P. Douglas Folk will present a day-long training program entitled “Quality Control, Managing Business and Construction Phase Risk” as part of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Arizona Leadership in Engineering Administration Program (LEAP) on Friday, April 4, 2014 at the Desert Willow Conference Center.
Folk has partnered with insurance professional Jeff Gerrick of Professional Underwriters of Arizona, Inc. in teaching the legal, insurance and risk management segment of this award-winning leadership training program since it began in 2000.
ACEC of Arizona is a national leader in providing career development training for upwardly mobile young professionals working in Arizona’s consulting engineering industry. According to the association, “LEAP has graduated 326 students and they have been making their mark in Arizona consulting engineering. Many have achieved senior management or principal positions in their firms.” Recent graduates of the program have also acknowledged the value of this training for their career growth saying, “LEAP should be a requirement for all engineers on the path to becoming a project manager.”
Folk serves business clients in architecture, engineering, geomatics, landscape architecture, construction, and other technology-driven industries as a vigorous advocate and trusted advisor. By drawing on his extensive experience in business transactions and commercial litigation, he developed practice specialties in construction law, professional liability defense, contracts and negotiations, risk management, administrative law, and government relations.
