CHICAGO, IL – Clark Hill attorney Meridith G. Cannon will present on Medical Cannabis in Illinois: New Regulatory and Legal Issues For the Emerging Medical Cannabis Industry on Friday, April 24, 2015 at the Gleacher Center in Chicago, Illinois.

This seminar will examine the Illinois Pilot Program's legal and business implications for patients, doctors, hospitals, employers, cultivation centers, dispensaries and lawyers. In particular, the seminar will address: The Illinois Pilot Program and its current status; legal and practical issues for physicians and hospitals with respect to certifying and permitting the use of cannabis under the Program; guidance for employers in dealing with employees licensed under the Program; regulatory, real estate, intellectual property, investment and other issues for businesses in the Program; and the standards and risks for lawyers working in this area.
