Clark Hill Attorney Mark J. Steger Recognized by the 13th Annual M&A Advisor Turnaround Awards
CHICAGO, IL – Clark Hill was recently recognized by the 13th Annual M&A Advisor Turnaround Awards in the sector category of Industrials Deal of The Year (under $100MM) for the Acquisition of Wellman Dynamics Corporation by TCTM Financial, of which Mark J. Steger was Special Environmental Counsel to the Debtor, Wellman Dynamics Corporation. Steger provided environmental assistance for the transaction and negotiated an environmental settlement agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice and three other state and federal agencies.
The 13th Annual M&A Advisor Turnaround Awards are part of the 2019 Distressed Investing Summit. The Summit will take place on March 27-28, 2019 and will feature 250 of the industry’s leading professionals participating in exclusive interactive forums led by a faculty of restructuring industry supporters and business media experts. He has extensive expertise in counseling, permitting and rulemaking and regularly defends clients in enforcement actions under numerous environmental laws. He also has extensive experience in working with clients on environmental due diligence and Superfund matters.
