Hyde will present “Understanding Guardianship: Working Together Across Disciplines,” a seminar for social work professionals, hosted by CJE Senior Life and Loyola University Chicago. Hyde, along with two other panelists, will discuss when guardianship is warranted, and how social workers my initiate the process. They will focus on the collaboration between disciplines and the steps in the guardianship process, as well as review the types of guardianship and their limitations.

Hyde is an associate attorney in the Litigation Practice Group of Clark Hill’s Chicago office. Hyde concentrates in contested guardianships and estates as well as fiduciary litigation and estate administration. Hyde represents individuals, medical institutions and financial institutions in all areas of her practice. Hyde is frequently appointed by the Probate Court to serve as a Guardian Ad Litem in guardianship cases.
