Birmingham, MI – Clark Hill Attorney Lisa B. Kirsch Satawa will present on two topics at the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan (CDAM) Advanced Criminal Defense Practice Conference. On Thursday, November 6th she will teach the award-winning, eight hour hands on nuts and bolts training “A is for Attorney”. This program is everything a new lawyer (practicing criminal law for less than 2 years) needs to know from setting up a practice to trial skills. Kirsch Satawa co-founded this program in 2004 and has trained almost 500 Michigan lawyers with her co-founder and instructor. On Saturday, November 8th Kirsch Satawa will present “Enforcement Update on Police Procedures in Sex Offense Cases”. The conference will take place from November 6 – 8, 2014 at the Park Place Hotel Plaza in Traverse City, MI.
CDAM was formed in 1976 by criminal defense attorneys from across Michigan to provide an educational resource for practitioners in Michigan. A primary goal is to enhance the quality of representation of indigent defendants.
