Linda teamed up with Andrew Chesley of Peppertree Consulting Group to present a series of webinars titled “Economic Clarity: Business Now”. The webinar presentations were used as a basis for the article, “How to Keep Your Company Thriving in a Tough Economy, featured in Corp!. Linda M. Watson
is a member with the Litigation Practice Group in Clark Hill’s Birmingham office. Her practice is devoted to representation of small to large privately-held business entities, as well as public corporations. While she specializes in complex litigation, Linda also serves as corporate counsel for several companies managing various local, national and international business matters and disputes.
Linda is a graduate of the National Trial Institute for Trial Advocacy, one of the leading institutions for intensive professional training in the art and skills of trial advocacy. In a time when it is difficult to find an attorney who has actual trial experience, Linda has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict in state and federal court and is experienced in arbitration, facilitation and mediation. Linda was listed in 2006 and 2007 as a Super Lawyer for litigation.
Linda founded and hosts a monthly webinar lunch series for in-house counsel, featuring topics related to law department management, legal trends and recent developments in cases and the law through-out the country. Linda also serves as a member of The State Bar Publications and Website Advisory Committee and the Judicial Qualifications Committee. She is active at the local level serving as a member of The Oakland Circuit Court Committee and the Membership Committee of the Oakland County Bar Association. Linda is a frequent speaker for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and for MACPA. Linda also serves as legal counsel for the Original Equipment Supplier Association. Linda was a Managing Editor of Law Review while in law school and a former Michigan Court of Appeals clerk to the Hon. Roman Gribbs.
