Clark Hill Attorney Kurt M. Graham to Present at the 61st Annual Southwestern Michigan School Business Officials Conference

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Clark Hill Attorney Kurt M. Graham will present during the 61st Annual Southwestern Michigan School Business Officials (SWMSBO) Conference on Thursday, March 12, 2015 in Kalamazoo, MI. Graham will present two sessions, “Navigating Michigan’s New Freedom of Information Act” and “Personnel File Pointers.” “Navigation Michigan’s New Freedom of Information Act” will provide discussion on recent amendments to the Michigan FOIA and what school districts should be doing now in order to comply with and budget for changes that take effect July 1, 2015. “Personnel File Pointers” will address legal issues associated with maintaining personnel files including what to include or not include, employee and third party access, and retention of personnel records.
