Clark Hill Attorney Kevin Williams to Co-present at the 2019 Michigan Minority Procurement Conference

CHICAGO, IL – Kevin Williams, a Member in Clark Hill’s Customs and International Trade Law group, will speak at the Michigan Minority Procurement Conference (MMPC) on May 7, 2019, in Detroit, MI.  Kevin, along with his co-presenter, David Sowerby, Managing Director, Portfolio Manager of Ancora, will discuss the trade war and its impact on business during the Industry Day Lunch from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.   

MMPC is the state’s leading business conference, that focuses on linking national and local corporations with the top minority business enterprises (MBE) in Michigan.  The three day, action packed conference provides a platform for businesses to network and collaborate during workshops, industry-specific forums, seminars and business consulting sessions.  The conference also provides a procurement matchmaker where MBEs are able to speak one-on-one with corporate buyers.

Kevin Williams practices Customs and International Trade Law focusing on all aspects of the import and export process including tariff classification and valuation of imported merchandise, export licensing, country of origin determinations, country of origin marking, intellectual property protection, anti-dumping/countervailing duty cases including representation before the International Trade Administration, Department of Commerce and the International Trade Commission, and retaliatory actions such as those taken under Section 301.
