Clark Hill Attorney Joseph B. Urban will be helping school board members refine their governance skills at the upcoming Michigan Association of School Boards Annual Conference.
Joe will be leading a presentation titled “Polishing Up Your Policies” that will deliver best practices and thoughts from the field about how board policies fit into the overall success of public schools. The session will occur on November 2 at 9:00 a.m. at the MASB Conference, in the Amway Grand in Grand Rapids.
Joseph B. Urban is a member in Clark Hill’s Birmingham office, where he concentrates his practice in the areas of municipal finance, education law, and real estate law. Joe routinely represents school employers in the areas of collective bargaining, grievances and arbitration, unfair labor practices, wrongful discharge and the day-to-day matters arising in personnel administration.
