Clark Hill Attorney Jordan S. Bolton Speaks on Panel at Michigan Judicial Institute Business Court Judicial & Practitioner Seminar on May 2, 2017
BIRMINGHAM, MI – Clark Hill attorney Jordan S. Bolton spoke on a panel at the Business Court & Judicial Practitioner Seminar, presented by the Michigan Judicial Institute and the State Bar of Michigan Business Law Section’s Commercial Litigation Committee, on May 2, 2017, at the Hall of Justice in Lansing, Michigan.
Bolton discussed the role of counsel in managing discovery issues in a way that serves the effective and efficient administration of justice. Bolton presented alongside four other panelists to an audience of business court judges and practitioners from across Michigan, including a Justice of the Michigan Supreme Court as well as a number of former State Bar Presidents.
The seminar was designed to offer judges with a business court docket assignment and business court practitioners (transactional and in-house counsel attorneys) an opportunity to network and discuss business court jurisdiction, business court discovery protocols, best practices in utilizing early ADR in business courts, and effective business court case management practices.
Bolton is repeatedly recognized as a Top 50 business attorney in Michigan, serves as a Chair of the Oakland County Business Court and Counsel Committee, and serves as a member of the State Bar of Michigan's Judicial Qualifications Committee.
