CHICAGO, IL – Clark Hill Attorney and Chicago Bar Association (CBA) Administrative Law Committee Vice-Chair John F. Schomberg and co-presenter Beth Johnson, Director of Legal Programs for Cabrini Green Legal Aid, will present “Clemency in Illinois” for the CBA on January 23, 2017. With clemency in the news due to the actions of both President Obama and Illinois Governors, Schomberg and Johnson will discuss the process and the perspectives of petitioners, advocates, and Governor’s Offices. CBA members who attend or view the webcast will receive CLE credit.
Schomberg is a Senior Counsel in Clark Hill’s Government & Public Affairs Practice Group, based in Chicago. He has over 15 years of experience as a high-level government attorney and litigator, representing and providing strategic counsel to private and public corporations, organizations, and individuals.
