Clark Hill Attorney John F. Schomberg Appears on CLTV’s Politics Tonight
Chicago, IL – Clark Hill Attorney John F. Schomberg spoke with CLTV’s Politics Tonight on July 9, 2015, about the State of Illinois’ budget impasse. Interviewed by Politics Tonight host Paul Lisnek, Schomberg commented on the temporary, one month budget, including pay for State employees, passed by the Illinois House of Representatives. The Illinois Senate returns today to consider the House’s bill. In the meantime, Governor Rauner has stated that he would not sign a one month budget. Governor Rauner and the Democratic legislative leaders remain at an impasse over the long-term budget, with Rauner seeking items on his turnaround agenda and the Democrats seeking more revenue for State services.
