Clark Hill Attorney Joe Urban to present to charter school boards authorized by Bay Mills Community College November 9 -10, 2015
Birmingham, MI – On November 9 and 10, Joe Urban, of Clark Hill’s Education Law Practice Group will present “Beyond the Basics: A Close Look at Effective Meeting Management” to charter school boards authorized by Bay Mills Community College. Joe’s presentation will cover best practices of board meeting management and draw from legal sources such as Michigan’s Open Meetings Act; parliamentary procedure by way of Robert’s Rules of Order and practical sources, such as the school’s bylaws and policies. Training on the 9th will be at the Novi Sheraton and on the 10th training will be conducted at the Holiday Inn Express Crossroads Conference Center in Grand Rapids.
