Clark Hill Attorney Jeffrey Van Winkle Named Chair of the National Small Business Association for 2014
– Clark Hill Attorney Jeffrey Van Winkle has been named the Chair of the National Small Business Association (NSBA) for 2014. Van Winkle is a member of the firm’s Corporate Practice Group, where he focuses on the representation of businesses and entrepreneurs. Formally elected in December, Van Winkle outlined his belief in the important role NSBA can play in the coming year as a pragmatic, nonpartisan, member-driven small-business organization.
“Serving as the Chair of NSBA is a job I take very seriously,” stated Van Winkle. “America faces serious challenges which will require strong leadership and bipartisanship. If there is any organization that can serve as an example of how to bring people of all political persuasions together, it’s NSBA.”
As a former chair of the Small Business Association of Michigan—one of NSBA’s regional affiliates—Van Winkle has built a reputation representing small businesses and entrepreneurs with special expertise in investment and securities, international trade and a wide array of critical business activities. He has testified before Congress and the Michigan legislature on small-business issues.
Celebrating more than 75 years in operation, NSBA is a member-driven nonpartisan organization advocating on behalf of America’s entrepreneurs. NSBA’s 65,000 members represent every state and every industry in the U.S., and we are proud to be the nation’s first small-business advocacy organization. Please visit www.nsba.biz.
