DeLoss is a Member in Clark Hill’s Chicago office in the Health Care Practice Group. He focuses on the representation of behavioral healthcare providers (SUD and Mental Health), hospitals, medical groups, federally qualified health centers, trade associations, health information exchanges, EHR vendors, and research organizations. His practice areas include health information privacy, HIPAA, corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, reimbursement (Medicare/Medicaid/private insurers), contracting, and credentialing/privileging. He has represented multiple clients on Meaningful Use (“MU”) audits and appeals, to prevent recoupment of MU incentives.
