Clark Hill Attorney Eric Hocky to Participate in ASLRRA’s General Counsel Symposium – October 29, 2014

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Eric M. Hocky, a Member in Clark Hill’s Transportation Practice Group, will be participating at the General Counsel Symposium of the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA).  Hocky, currently the chair of ASLRRA’s General Counsel Committee, will speak on the panel on “Handling HazMat: Controlling What You’re Hauling,” on October 29, 2014 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Hocky’s hour-long session will address questions related to the ability of short lines to control the handling of crude oil and other hazardous materials on their lines, and the associated liability.

Hocky’s practice focuses on a variety of transportation matters relating primarily to railroads and their shippers. He has over 30 years of experience representing railroads and other transportation interests throughout the United States on a variety of matters before federal  and state regulatory agencies, and in their everyday business affairs.

Hocky is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and is resident in Clark Hill’s Philadelphia office.
