Clark Hill Attorney Ellen Hoeppner to Present at the American Society of Employers HR Conference, March 14, 2019

DETROIT, MI – Ellen Hoeppner, a Member in the Labor & Employment group of in the Firm’s Detroit Office, will present at the American Society of Employers (ASE) HR Conference, “Ignorance Is Not Bliss: Staying on Top of the Changing Legal Landscape in 2019.”  Her presentation will address important developments in employment law over the last year, including legalization of recreational marijuana, passage of Michigan’s Earned Sick Time Act, proposed changes to the overtime rules, and developments in the #MeToo movement.

Ellen Hoeppner has defended employers in federal and state courts and before federal and state administrative agencies in matters involving employment discrimination, harassment, retaliatory discharge and wage and hour claims.
