Clark Hill Attorney Edward J. Hood Appointed to Membership of the State Bar of Michigan Professional Ethics Committee
DETROIT, MI
– Clark Hill attorney Edward J. Hood was appointed to Membership of the State Bar of Michigan Professional Ethics Committee effective immediately. Ed will serve a three year term.
Ed’s practice involves trial, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution of commercial and construction-related matters. In addition to his representation of firm clients, Ed serves as Clark Hill’s General Counsel. In that capacity, Ed represents the law firm in its legal matters and counsels firm attorneys on professional responsibility issues.
Ed started his law career at Clark Hill in 1989. He was elected a member/partner in 1996. Ed is rated “AV” by Martindale-Hubbell’s peer review rating service, the highest rating for legal ability and ethics, and was selected for inclusion in 2010 and 2011 Michigan Super Lawyers.
Ed is a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.A., 1986, M.B.A., 2005) and of the Wayne State University Law School (J.D., 1989).
