PHOENIX, AZ – Clark Hill attorney Doug Folk is a featured speaker for the 2015 Annual Risk Management Seminar presented by Stuckey Insurance of Phoenix, Arizona. The event will take place on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Paradise Valley Country Club (7101 N. Tatum Boulevard) in Paradise Valley, Arizona.
The intended audience for this program will be architects, engineers, other design professionals and contractors involved in design/build projects. Folk’s session titled “Planning To Avoid Claims and Disputes” will draw from lessons learned in defending professional liability claims to help attendees negotiate more favorable contract terms, anticipate design or construction challenges that can generate claims or disputes if not properly handled, and educate owners, contractors, and end-users about how they can work with their design team to achieve more successful project outcomes.
Risk management professionals from XL Catlin Design Professional will also participate in the program. A roundtable following the prepared remarks will allow opportunities for additional discussion of the speakers’ case studies and recommendations.
