Diana's practice focuses on the defense of healthcare providers with an emphasis on allegations of elder abuse, professional negligence, unfair business practices, fraud, and violations of statutorily-imposed duties. Although Diana's current practice is primarily devoted to the representation of skilled nursing facilities, residential care facilities for the elderly, and assisted living facilities, she additionally has represented home health and hospice care providers, pharmacies, and medical providers in professional/medical liability, as well as general liability, claims. Diana regularly counsels clients on compliance with Title 22 regulations, HIPAA, and other state and federal regulations and evaluates internal policies and procedures in view of the changing landscape in the healthcare industry in order to minimize litigation risks.
