Clark Hill Attorney Bret S. Wacker Elected to Board of Governors of Board of Contract Appeals Bar Association
DETROIT, MI – Bret S. Wacker, a Member in Clark Hill’s Government and Public Affairs Practice Group, was recently elected to a three year term to the Board of Directors of the Board of Contract Appeals Bar Association (BCABA). BCABA is an association of attorneys, judges and other legal professionals who dedicate themselves to the improvement of the practice of law before the Boards of Contract Appeals of the Federal Government.
Bret’s practice focuses almost exclusively on counseling companies in a variety of industries, including construction, manufacturing, and IT services (software and hardware) in all areas of Federal Government Procurement and Market Development. For more than 30 years, Bret has represented the interests of clients, large and small, before the U.S. General Accountability Office (GAO), the Courts of the Federal Circuit, and the Boards of Contract Appeals. Bret is admitted to the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. He is also a member of the Association of the U.S. Army, as well as the National Defense Industry Association.
