Clark Hill Attorney Bethany Stawasz Appointed to Federal Bar Association’s New Lawyers Initiative Steering Committee
DETROIT, MI
– Clark Hill Attorney Bethany Stawasz has been appointed to the Federal Bar Association’s Steering Committee for the New Lawyers Initiative (Eastern District of Michigan Chapter). Stawasz is one of eleven members selected to serve on the committee which will direct the efforts of the New Lawyers Initiative. The New Lawyers Initiative is committed to generating greater and more meaningful participation of new lawyers by offering a wide range of events and activities specifically directed toward advancing careers in federal court practice.
Stawasz is an associate with the Litigation Practice Group in Clark Hill’s Detroit office. Her practice is focused in commercial litigation, including contract disputes, lender liability, claims arising under the Uniform Commercial Code, real estate disputes, and other matters affecting banking and financial institutions. Before coming to Clark Hill, Stawasz worked for a large banking institution at the branch level and for a firm specializing in residential mortgage foreclosures.
Outside the office, Stawasz is also a member of the Detroit Economic Club Young Leaders, Michigan Opera Theatre Volunteers Association and the Polish National Alliance. Stawasz is the founding member and chair of The Henry Ford Museum’s Young Professionals Committee.
