Clark Hill Attorney Barbara A. Ruga to Present at the OAISD Educator Evaluation Summit – November 26

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. –

Attorney Barbara A. Ruga is presenting “Teacher and Administrator Performance Evaluation – Statutory Requirements” at the Ottawa Area Intermediate School District (OAISD) Educator Evaluation Summit.

The conference is a full-day program for district teams which will include vendor demonstrations, as well as guidance on scoring, using student growth measures, and evaluation systems. It will be held on Tuesday, November 26 from 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Ruga has over 35 years of experience advising and counseling public school districts and other public and private employers on a wide variety of labor law and employment issues, as well as extensive knowledge and experience negotiating teacher contracts in the context of scarce resources. She has presented for other notable statewide organizations, including the Michigan Negotiators Association, Metro Bureau, the Michigan Association of School Boards and the Michigan School Business Officials, as well as national educational entities.
