– Clark Hill attorney Barbara A. Ruga will at Negotiating on Shifting Sands: The Law and Practice of School Negotiations in a New Age hosted by MASA, MASB, and MSBO. Ruga will present “Strategic Bargaining Consideration from the Experts.” The program will be held on February 14 at the Kellogg Center in East Lansing.

Ruga has over 35 years of experience advising and counseling public school districts and other public and private employers on a wide variety of labor law and employment issues, as well as extensive knowledge and experience negotiating teacher contracts in the context of scarce resources. She has presented for other notable statewide organizations, including the Metro Bureau, the Michigan Negotiators Association, the Michigan Association of School Boards and the Michigan School Business Officials, as well as national educational entities.
