Clark Hill Attorney Anne-Marie Vercruysse Welch Named 2013 Up & Coming Lawyer by Michigan Lawyers Weekly

– Clark Hill Attorney Anne-Marie Vercruysse Welch has been selected as a Michigan Lawyers Weekly 2013 Up & Coming Lawyer. Welch will be recognized during an awards luncheon at the Detroit Marriott in Troy, MI on December 5, 2013. The honorees were selected by a committee based on their outstanding professional accomplishments, mentoring and community involvement.
Welch is an associate in Clark Hill’s Labor & Employment practice group. She routinely advises management on employment related issues and is experienced in defending against wrongful discharge, discrimination and related statutory and tort claims, unfair labor practice charges, as well as in pursuing and defending claims pertaining to non-competition agreements and unemployment insurance. Welch has defended employers before both state and federal agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Michigan Department of Civil Rights, the National Labor Relations Board, the Michigan Employment Relations Commission, and the Michigan Compensation Appellate Commission. She also regularly represents administrators before the Michigan Public School Employees Retirement System Board of Review.
