Anne-Marie Vercruysse Welch
is an associate of Clark Hill’s Detroit office. Her areas of practice focus primarily on employment litigation and labor law. Ms. Welch represents both public and private employers, and routinely advises non-profit organizations.
Ms. Welch lectures at employment law seminars regarding employee misuse of the Internet, legal hiring and termination practices, legal monitoring practices, privacy rights in the workplace, and employers’ methods to reduce healthcare costs. Her published works include:

She is a member of the Eastern District Federal Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan and the ABA Labor and Employment Law Section, the ABA/EEOC Liaison Committee, and the Royal Oak Woman’s Club.
Ms. Welch earned her J.D.,
magna cum laude
, from Michigan State University College of Law, where she received a full academic scholarship and earned numerous awards for academic merit, including the Jurisprudence Achievement Award for Employment Discrimination Law. Ms. Welch also served as an Associate Editor of the MICHIGAN STATE LAW REVIEW, a member of the Phi Delta Phi executive board, and an intern to the Honorable Avern L. Cohn of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in History and Communication, with honors, from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
