Charlie Spies honored as one of the Politico 50

Charlie Spies, the leader of Clark Hill’s national Political Law practice, has been named to the prestigious 2015 Politico 50 – a list of “thinkers, doers and visionaries transforming American politics.” Spies, at #2 on the list, after Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, is recognized for having “mastered the art of helping candidates benefit from super PACS” and his work which “created a playbook that allows candidates to maximize the new flood of money into politics.”

In addition to leading Clark Hill’s political law practice, Spies serves as Member in Charge of the firm’s growing Washington D.C. office. Spies has more than fifteen years of experience providing strategic counsel to prominent clients throughout Washington D.C. and nationally, including currently serving as counsel and treasurer for Right to Rise USA, the super PAC supporting Governor Jeb Bush, and previously co-founding and serving as counsel to Restore Our Future, the largest Super PAC in history.
