Ronald A. King

was elected to the Executive Committee of Clark Hill PLC, effective January 1, 2009.


King will serve a three year term.


The five members of Clark Hill’s Executive Committee oversee management of Clark Hill’s team of over 190 attorneys and professionals.


The Executive Committee also develops and implements strategic policies and initiatives to support the continued high level of client services and success of the firm.

King is a member of Clark Hill’s Litigation Group, and focuses his practice in the areas of environmental law and commercial litigation.

King is heading up Clark Hill’s Climate Change practice, which is on the cutting edge for strategic assessment of risks and opportunities in the development of carbon management programs and regional and international climate change policies.


This firm initiative will cut across many of the firm’s practice groups and offer broad and comprehensive solutions for client using the diverse talents of the firm’s attorneys.

King also represents a broad range of clients in complex environmental matters, including regulatory compliance and enforcement, and cost recovery litigation involving multiple parties.


He represents clients (plaintiffs and defendants) in environmental litigation in federal and state courts, and before federal, state and local administrative bodies.

King resides in the firm’s

office, located in the

Old


Town

area of the city, overlooking the

Grand River

.


The firm renovated its current space in 2004, and refurbished an old mill building, maintaining unique architectural features of the historical area and remains committed to the


Lansing


community.


The building now houses more than 15 attorneys and professionals in the Litigation and Administrative Law practice areas.


It is also the center of the firm’s Government and Public Affairs Group, as well as its Environmental and Energy practices.
