CHICAGO, IL –
R. Kevin Williams will present at the Dimerco Express (U.S.A.) Corp. Client Advisory Council Meeting on “Progress of Government Modernization: Supply Chain Security and Streamlining the Export/Import Process” on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Oakland Athletics Stadium, Oakland, CA.
Williams will present on current issues in the management of risk in international supply chains and an update on the Federal Government’s initiative to streamline the flow of information between importers/exporters and the government agencies that regulate international trade.
Williams is a Member in Clark Hill’s Customs and International Trade Law practice group. He practices Customs and International Trade Law focusing on all aspects of the import and export process including tariff classification and valuation of imported merchandise, country of origin determinations, country of origin marking, intellectual property protection, anti-dumping/countervailing duty cases including representation before the International Trade Administration, Department of Commerce and the International Trade Commission, and retaliatory actions such as those taken under Section 301.
