BIRMINGHAM, MICH. – Clark Hill attorney Paul S. Magy recently received the International Council of Shopping Centers’ (ICSC) Trustees Distinguished Service Award – an honor reserved for volunteer leadership who have dedicated themselves to the organization and industry, often times for several decades. The award is considered ICSC’s “Hall of Fame.” Magy was honored at ICSC’s International Convention in Las Vegas and at the Michigan ICSC Idea Exchange held July 26, at The Henry in Dearborn, Mich.

Magy is a member of Clark Hill’s Real Estate Practice Group out of the firm’s Birmingham office. His extensive commercial real estate experience includes acquisition, development, finance, zoning, and leasing and sale of commercial real estate. Magy is active in a number of community and professional organizations. He is currently chair of Michigan’s ICSC’s Continuing Education Program for Real Estate Professionals. Prior to that, Magy was state director for ICSC Michigan and chairman of ICSC government relations. Magy was named AV® Preeminent™ by Martindale-Hubbell in 2012, and has been included in The Best Lawyers in America’s list for Bankruptcy and Creditor-Debtor Rights Law, and Real Estate Law since 2011.

Magy is one of four individuals to receive the award in 2012. The additional ICSC Trustees Distinguished Service Award recipients are Robert M. Mallia, former vice president and COO of ICSC; Neil Mitchenall, a top industry consultant based in London, England; and Thomas Porter, principal at industry innovator TVS Design.
